ARTWORK GUIDE

ILLUSTRATOR EPS or AI FILE (PDF or JPG FOR EMBROIDERY ONLY

Vector Illustrator EPS file is our recommended file type. This allows for a high-quality branding output as logos can be resized without any loss of quality or detail. Please provide files with converted paths/curves and/or appropriate.TTF fonts. See a video on vector artwork files here.

We can also accept JPGs (for embroidery), however, they must be re-illustrated for printing and engraving metal jobs. A high-resolution .jpg file can be used for printing digital or offset printing jobs, but an EPS file remains the recommendation as this almost always provides a superior result.

PANTONE OR PMS COLOURS

PMS colours are industry standard colour charts which we use to ensure that the printing result on your promotional product matches your actual brand or logo colours as closely as possible.  It’s important that you provide the specifications of your brand PMS colours at the time of the artwork request.

Please be aware that the colours across some products can vary dependant on the material at which we’re printing. For example, your PMS colour may appear slightly different when printing on cardboard vs. canvas.

If you don’t know you PMS colours, we can select them for you and you will be required to approve these from an electronic sample, which may appear differently on different devices. In the absence of client-supplied PMS colours, the final products must be accepted as initially approved.

FONTS

When considering the use of fonts (typeface used). They must be either converted to outlines/curves or supplied as TTF files
